In recent years, relying on the rich agricultural and animal husbandry resources in our region, agricultural and Animal Husbandry Specialty enterprises have developed rapidly. By the end of 2013, the number of agricultural industrialization enterprises has grown to 38, the number of autonomous region level enterprises has grown to 556, and the number of listed companies is 9. In 2013, there were 1981 agricultural and livestock products processing enterprises with a sales revenue of more than 5 million yuan in the region, achieving a sales revenue of 345.56 billion yuan and paying taxes to the state of 9.28 billion yuan; The number of agricultural and livestock products circulation enterprises with a transaction volume of more than 5 million yuan in the region reached 598, with a transaction volume of 83.75 billion yuan. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in the region from industrialization was 3730 yuan, driving more than 1 million jobs; 902 enterprises have directly participated in agricultural and animal husbandry production, driving 8.697 million mu of land to achieve large-scale operation.

However, at present, the specialty enterprises in our region are still in the low-level development stage, small, scattered and weak, with weak competitiveness and driving ability, and lack of high-level leading enterprises. On the whole, the development of brand special industry in our district is still in its infancy, and the number of well-known brands is still small. In addition to Yili, Mengniu and Erdos, which have strong market share, competitiveness and recognition, many other brands still need to be vigorously supported and cultivated. The independent innovation ability and marketing ability of the brand management body are weak, the product quality does not match the product price, does not reflect the high price, and the product added value is low. The mechanism of brand cultivation, protection and development is not perfect, and there are phenomena such as "having products without licenses", "one product with multiple licenses", and "disordered, miscellaneous, weak, small, scattered" brands. Brand policy support and market supervision urgently need to be strengthened. To some extent, these problems restrict the improvement of economic benefits of special industries and the growth of farmers' and herdsmen 'income. This year, the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "opinions on accelerating the cultivation of leading enterprises, promoting the development of industrial clusters, and improving the level of industrialized management of agriculture and animal husbandry" with document No. 2, pointing out the direction for the development of special industries in Inner Mongolia.
